What are your favorite money saving grocery ideas?
I am looking for ways to cut down on my grocery bill. I already don’t shop when I am hungry, take a list and manage to stay close to it, and buy some things in bulk. Any new ideas for saving money, including thrifty recipes, would be great!
How about dropping a "brand level" and see if you notice the difference. A lot of people buy "basics" or "value" brands for stuff like chopped tomatoes and stuff.
Make sure you use up all your leftovers – make a nice hearty soup on a Sunday and you have at least 2 lunches there.
If you shop online always view all offers before you buy anything – if you can get 2 lots of washing powder for the price of one, why be brand loyal
Definitely try to buy you veg and fruit at a local market or green grocer – they are so much cheaper than the supermarket and usually you can buy the exat quantity that you need.
Look out for coupons and discount vouchers for stuff that you actually need – if you collect them anyway try to see if people at work do the same and trade with them for ones that are more useful.
Legal for company to require me to save vacation time for mandatory plant shutdown?
Is it legal for my company to force me to save 32 hours of vacation time for a mandatory plant shut-down? I live in Kentucky, by the way. Thanks!
I looked up your state laws to be sure of my response. As others posted vacation time is not a state law (at least in Kentucky) so it is considered a work benefit. As such, unfortunately, they can dictate when you can take your vacation time (like many other organizations.) Sorry. I wish I had the answer you wanted to hear

Huh? There’s no law limiting the amount of money you can keep at home in a safe.
If it’s income that you aren’t reporting, then it’s tax evasion from the first dollar, no matter where the money is.
How much money do you save on oil by keeping your thermostat at home at a lower temperature?
My parents insist on keeping our house about 65 degrees in the winter in order to save on oil, which in turn saves money. About how much more would it cost to heat the house say 5 more degrees?
The house was built it the 1950, so It’s probably not very well insulated like newer homes would be.
1 degree in my house costs $40-$60 a month

I am hoping to relocate to another state after finding a new job that pays the same or more than I make now. I am living paycheck to paycheck due to extensive debt and expenses due to the cost of living increasing. Moving far off costs money. How can I save when there is barely anything to save? Any ideas?

#2 – Manga Collecting : Version & Saving Money
Manga collection, it’s something I’m good at, and enjoy sharing with others. This is the first in a series of videos I will be doing on various way to start a collection, how to save money, and how to smartly amass or add to a respectable collection of your own.
Hopefully this will be useful enough to become a more polished series of videos. It’s all up to you and how helpful you think this was! Leave me your comments, questions, and suggestions for the next one!
This video is mostly tips on how to collect wisely, and save money while still being a good collector!
my list is here: http://www.natsukigirl.com
A word I forgot to include at the end was “furoku” the extras that come with magazines and monthly manga. You don’t really need to know this word for shopping purposes, as furoku is usually displayed clearly on the front covers… so you’ll know what is offered just by looking, and won’t have to read anything to find out, lol.
Also, another note that had to be cut for time was that the filmcomic text is usually slightly different from the original anime script. So they are good for “complete-ists” or those who need extra details.
