Disabled and Moving to new state possibly getting help living should i save money before moving and how?

If you get SSI, than talk to your worker about a PASS plan. You can have a plan where you set aside a specified amount of money for moving expenses. This can exceed the typical $2,000 in resources you are ordinarily allowed to have.

If you do not get SSI, I have no idea why you wouldn’t try to save as much money as you could.

    Do you actually have SSI income? If so use that to apply for public housing in the new state you want to move to.
